THE ANCIENT

TALE OF

YOGA NIDRA

Once upon a time, in ancient India,

there lived a wise sage named Vashishta.

Vashishta was known far and wide for his deep wisdom and profound knowledge of the human mind and spirit.

Saraswati explained to Vashishta that Yoga Nidra was a powerful practice designed to induce deep relaxation and inner transformation. It was a way for seekers to journey inward, beyond the limitations of the conscious mind, and explore the vast realms of the subconscious and unconscious.

One day, while meditating in the serene forests of the Himalayas, Vashishta was visited by the divine goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, and creativity. Saraswati appeared before Vashishta in a vision and bestowed upon him the sacred teachings of Yoga Nidra.

Intrigued by this divine revelation, Vashishta devoted himself to mastering the practice of Yoga Nidra. He spent years delving into its mysteries, experimenting with different techniques, and refining his understanding of its profound effects on the human psyche.

As word of Vashishta's teachings spread throughout the land, people from far and wide flocked to him, seeking guidance and wisdom. They came with hearts heavy with the burdens of everyday life—stress, anxiety, and despair—and left with spirits lifted, minds calmed, and hearts filled with peace.

Over time, the practice of Yoga Nidra became an integral part of the ancient Indian tradition of yoga and meditation. It was passed down from generation to generation, preserved and cherished as a precious gift from the divine.

today, the legacy of vashishta and the wisdom of yoga nidra

continue to inspire seekers from all around the world.

is a guided meditation practice that induces deep                 relaxation while maintaining full consciousness. By activating the body's relaxation response and reducing levels of stress hormones like cortisol, Yoga Nidra helps prevent stress and promote overall well-being.

Through techniques such as body scans, breath awareness, and emotional regulation, Yoga Nidra cultivates a heightened mind-body connection, improves sleep quality, and fosters restoration and rejuvenation, leading to improved mental, emotional,
and physical health.

founder | mind & body relaxation teacher

I've always had an immense fascination with the human body and mind and felt drawn to explore the depths of the unknown. Practicing Yoga over the past five years taught me the intricate structure of our bodies, instilled mindfulness, and made me aware of how important it is to seek active rest.

My journey with this ancient practice called Yoga Nidra began in my youth when my mother passed it on to me to help reduce stress and induce deep relaxation and revitalisation.

In 2023, I fulfilled a dream by obtaining my US certified yoga teacher license in the jungle of Indonesia, in Ubud, Bali, at House of Om.

With my Yoga teacher training completed and years of practice with various teachers and mentors spanning from Peru to Australia, Indonesia, and India, who generously shared their wisdom and knowledge with me, I have gained a deep understanding of the human nervous system and the tools and techniques required to effectively calm the body and mind.

My goal with RQUEST is to offer an alternative approach to relaxation and stress reduction, resetting the nervous system and increasing brain and body function through simple yet effective traditional techniques, which I am honoured to share with you.

My clients trust me because of my relatability, honesty, and welcoming nature. Whether you are dealing with trauma or simply want to improve your mental and emotional well-being, I am here to help.
